About Grady

***Adoption Pending*** Grady is a fun loving, 2 year old, terrier mix, that's old enough to be well behaved and young enough to play and take long walks. He enjoys chewing my pens and pencils, but hasn't gnawed on any furniture or shoes. His favorite toy is a plush animal that he occasionally will toss in the air and then tackle to the ground. Grady loves to be called a 'Good Boy' and if your scratch that schnauze he'll be a quick friend. Grady was a stray when HOHR found him, and he is quick! Although he's tiny, he is able to pull off a 3.5' straight verticle, and squeeze through 4' spaced rails on a fence. Grady will need a pretty tall fence, or his leash & harness in his new home. Grady can be an escape artist and a runner looking for a mate would be a good fit! Grady favors my 10 year old, and he stays close by making sure shes protected and safe. Grady is kennel and potty trained and does not bark. He is shy with new dog friends but with words and pats of encouragement he learns they are not to be feared. Grady is neutered, UTD of vacc., and microchipped. If you would like to adopt him, you can apply at handsofhoperescue.com. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Kansas City, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
