About KEANU and SABI

Keanu and Sabi The perfect playmate duo! Both are great with cats and other dogs as well. These two will bring joy and spice up your day with fun filled play. They love toys, running around in the yard, and taking naps on the couch. Sabi is outgoing, affectionate, loves to sit by you and get petted. Keanu is more shy and opens up more slowly (loves women). They love their homestead and although they enjoy walks and hikes (they do need some training on leash) they prefer to be home. As with any bonded pair they must be kept together. They have been fostered together and are fostered with cats and dogs. Adoption fee includes their neutering, microchip, vaccination, deworming, etc. Sabi is 3 yrs old and about 65-70# and Keanu is 9 months old and about 35-40#. Sabi is a puppy parvo survivor and Keanu was abandoned in a box as a puppy. Both are very sweet and love to play. They met and became friends in their foster home. Revised adoption policy Due to Covid -19 pandemic and social distancing requirements, we've temporarily revised our adoption policy. First, please email ([email protected]) to inquire before you fill out the online application. (Please do not call or text). We are unable to do multi-dog meetgreets or adoption events at this time or bring multiple animals to your house to choose from, so please only inquire if you're serious about adopting this particular animal(s). If you're just shopping around with several shelters and rescues, please let us know this. If you're application is approved (which 'could' take up to one week) then we will contact you to set up a day/time to bring the pet to you. We may ask you to send us pics /video your home/yard/living area/current pets since we can't come into the home for the meet/greet due to Covid-19. At the meeting/adoption at your house (outside) please wear a mask (as will we) and have hand sanitizer. We adopt locally to Central Abq, Santa Fe and Rio Rancho. No out of area adoptions please. No young children for our adoptions please. We like to stay in touch - pics, videos, social media, etc :-)
