About Lola

Lola is approx 2 years old and weighs approx 60 pounds and is full grown at this point. She is a beautiful active dog that loves to play ball. She may be a bit shy to warm up when first meeting you, but it doesn't take long for her at all. Especially if you have a ball. She's been around other dogs, and does well, but we would want to do a meet and greet for her. She has average energy, and will flourish in a home where she gets to play, walk, and have her mind challenged, since she still is very puppy like in alot of ways. Because she can get excited and is a large dog and may be mouthy, we are saying no small kids. She walks well on her leash. She will be a totally fun dog for you if you like to be active with your dog. Let us know if you are interested in meeting her! It is necessary and important to give a dog time, understanding, patience and kindness while they are adjusting to their new lives. Time to decompress. It is up to us to teach them how to navigate our world, not punish them or be impatient with their timeline. The more time you give with NO expectations, the deeper and more loving your relationship will be with them. Time is the MOST important gift you can give to your dog. We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a dog. As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You may need to come back to us to complete shots, spay or neuter, hw test. You will receive 6 mths of HW preventative.You will receive a free bag of premium dog food, as well as a gift card from Choice Pet Market if you live in one of the designated zip codes. We give you 4 training classes, this is MANDATORY and will be scheduled at a later date and place
