We saved adorable pup Milo in April, he had been in his cage for over a year. He's a playful and sweet Pit/Great Dane mix, perfect in the house, calm with children, and happy to nap at your feet. He can be energetic during play, but understands commands when it's time to simmer down (sit, lay down, bed, kennel, watch) and is food motivated. While he's fine living with our senior King Charles (20 lbs), he is reactive to small dogs, especially when they're lunging and barking at him on walks. When he was fostered, he ran through the door and bit a small dog that was barking at him. It is very important that his new home always has him on a leash around small dogs. He is 2-3 years old by the vet's estimate, and in perfect health at 65 lbs. Milo is completing a 6-week obedience program with Paws for Life, since he's a perfect dog outside of the reactivity on walks, that is what they've focused on. Milo will need a home with a yard and a patient+loving handler on walks.
