About Roman

Roman is a beautiful little guy and unfortunately as most EB are, the product of a puppy mill then pet store sale. He is just 2 years old and has spent the first years of his life in horrible conditions and with not good owners. Roman was crated 24/7, rarely exercised, fed terrible food, not kept up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and mistreated. Roman has a very limited tolerance for business and noise. He would do best in a female home, but one who is good at setting limits and treating a dog as a dog not a person. Since Roman has been with us he has made huge progress. If he is handled by a core group of people he is fine. Roman has been stepped on and kicked and as such is very sensitive about feet being too close to him. He is now on very high quality grain free diet and with the addition of CBD tincture which has really allowed him to relax. Roman will be a work in progress for quite a while. However we do not feel that keeping him in a kennel setting long term is best. We are looking for a home with no children and no other pets and a female household is preferred, although willing to meet couples.
