About Tigg

Adoption Fee: $250
Spitz
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Tigg-In Foster/Available for Adoption Tigg (short for Tigger)is a 15 lb male, German Spitz. He is about 4-5 years old. He came to us as a stray in late March. After no luck finding an owner we took him into the rescue. He was Heartworm tested and negative and on prevention heartworms and also for fleas and ticks. He was neutered, microchipped and given rabies, parvo/distemper and bordatella vaccinations and wormed. He is a very loving easy going dog. Gets along with all people and all the dogs he has met big and small. He loves toys. Sleeps in a crate at night with no accidents. He was just recently neutered and still has a tendency to hike his leg as he pleases. But he is House trained. He knows better but still on occasion hike. When he is inside the house we have him wear a belly band. Walks on a lead well and knows basic commands. He is a great car rider too. Loves attention and being with people. He also loves the water and getting in the little swimming pool. He would make a great pet for any family. Some things he needs to have someone committed to work on with him are the hiking his leg and he still has the desire to roam if he gets loose from you and wants to run and investigate without wanting to come back when called. So he would need to be adopted to someone that has a fenced in yard and that would be conscious of opening doors without letting him bolt.
