About Tinkerbelle

Tinkerbelle is a 14 y/o Chow Chow / Golden Retriever Mix (pictured on the left). She was surrendered to Clayton County AC after her owner passed away. Tinkerbelle had some skin infections, most likely caused by scratching at fleas, which are healing up nicely now, and her hair is growing back in. . Tink is mostly house trained, and very quiet and docile. She never barks or causes a fuss, and she gets along with all other dogs. She is low to average energy, and prefers to cuddle or take naps, rather than run around like a loon. She is an elderly lady, after all! . Sadly, Tinkerbelle is heartworm positive. Due to her age, we are treating her with the 'slow kill' method and hope that will buy her some additional time. She is not showing any symptoms currently, so we're hoping they are not too far advanced yet. . Tink was surrendered along with her 'sister', Bella (pictured on the right), and they are fully bonded and dependent on each other. They MUST be adopted together.
