Courtesy Posting: Rescue only in Las Vegas shelter- Young sweet shy beautiful girl listed as a chow mix, appears to be part golden retriever and possibly another spitz breed like eskie, tongue is pink- need foster and rescue --- ASPEN - A1129942 - RESCUE ONLY Las Vegas Shelter, Las Vegas, NV Aspen is even more beautiful in videos than this picture even shows. This young, sweet girl was dumped at the Las Vegas shelter trembling in fear. She is listed as a chow mix who appears to be perhaps a gorgeous blend of a golden retriever and chow or another spitz breed like eskie, her tongue is actually pink per the shelter. Aspen is slowly warming up to staff and now has allowed handling. She is very gentle and appears submissive and rolls over with her tummy up in video, showing no signs of aggression. We have videos to share showing this. But due to being scared and shy, and originally trying to bite the catch pole (not a person though) probably in an attempt to get away, she cut the side of her face, and the shelter has made her Rescue only. We are therefore looking for a foster or foster to adopt to pair with a rescue to save her, preferably in the Las Vegas area, or near a rescue who can help. Aspen weighs 51 lbs and is estimated to be only 2 years old. She has yet to be tested with other dogs, but this has been requested.
