About Bo

Adoption Fee: $200
Doberman Pinscher
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Please read entire description. No phone calls. Bo's adoption fee is $200. We are requiring a fenced yard. We do not know how he is with cats. We would recommend medium/large dogs with Bo. The FIRST and REQUIRED step of the adoption process is to complete an application on our website at www.pawswpaofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. Meet Bo! This 1 year old, 96 pound Doberman is looking for a new home. His original family did not make the best decision on the breed and age of a dog they chose to bring into their home. This young puppy quickly grew large and was not properly taught some puppy basics that all dogs need. They could not physically continue to manage him with no fence. Luckily for Bo, it's never too late to learn and in the right home, he will thrive and be a wonderful companion. Bo would be best in a home with older children. He can be a bit bouncy at times and is very strong. Bo also would do great as the only pet in the home unless there is another well-trained, large sized dog in the home that can show him the ropes. He just hasn't had experience with many other animals in his young life. He did meet a larger dog and followed him around like a puppy. He would benefit from an owner who can work on positive reinforcement training and who has a physically, securely fenced yard. (We will not place Bo in an apartment setting or in a home without a fenced yard.) Bo has had experience being in a house and is mostly house trained. Bo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200. If interested, please complete an application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. One application works for all of our dogs.
