About Cookie

Cookie is a one year old Chihuahua/Dachshund Mix who was owner surrendered last May because her family had too many dogs and were moving. When we first took Cookie into our group she was not socialized with people, potty trained, or leash trained as her previous owners left her inside the house. Since then Cookie has improved and goes out for daily walks and allows new people to pet her if they approach her slowly. Cookie is very affectionate and playful. She enjoys sunbathing and sleeping with you. Cookie can be shy at first and does not like fast movements so would not do well with young children. She is also very alert and will tell you when there is another dog or person outside. Cookie has become very bonded with foster sister Naya, we want them to continue living with each other so they must be adopted together.
