About PEACE (PC ;-)

PEACE (her nickname is PC;-) is an affectionate dog and loves to be petted and massaged -- she's happy to do this all day if your up for it. She is also independent enough and lounges in the yard/sun on nice days. Put her in a harness and go for a walk, she's super happy. She always stops and looks back at you to check if everything's good. She's been a mamma dog -- we rescued her and her litter of nine from a reservation. Her adoption fee includes her vaccinations, spay and microchip. We estimate she was born 2015. Revised adoption policy: Due to Covid -19 pandemic and social distancing requirements, we've temporarily revised our adoption policy. First, please email ([email protected]) to inquire before you fill out the online application. We are unable to do meetgreets or adoption events at this time or bring multiple animals to your house to choose from, so please only inquire if you're serious about adopting this particular animal. If you're just shopping around with several shelters and rescues, please let us know this. If you're application is approved (which 'could' take up to one week to process) then we will email/text/call to set up a day/time to bring the pet to you. We may ask you to send us pics /video your home/yard/living area/current pets since we can't come into the home for the meet/greet. At the meeting/adoption at your house (outside) please wear a mask (as will we) and have hand sanitizer. We adopt locally to the Santa Fe, central ABQ, Rio Rancho and Los Alamos areas of New Mexico.
