About Peaches

Peaches is 2yrs old, and comes from an abusive situation. She is in foster care in Stoneville NC,and has really come out of her shell but will always have some fear of people. Due to her past she will likely never like being picked up, so not going to be a cuddler. She loves toys and chew bones. Wants to be close to you as long as you don't try to pick her up, she gets fearful and will try to run and hide. She is crate trained, and having a crate is important to her, it is a safe place for her to retreat to when scared. She is good on a leash and house trained, and pee pad trained. We are not sure of her mix, the vet put jack russel mix, she has the body type of a corgi and some features of a chihuahua. She is a great little dog that had a bad start but is trying to move on with her life. She needs a home where she can fit in, without being pressured for to much contact. She likes playing with other dogs and will be a great companion.
