About Eve

Location: Frisco, TX; Age: 12 weeks as of May 16 (born Feb 22, 2020); Meet little Eve! She came in not being able to use her back legs much under suspicion of a broken back, but luckily that was not the case! It turned out to be a dislocation of her tibia & fibula in her right leg / pelvis dislocated at S1 joint space. She has gotten a leg brace, a cart, & anti-inflammatory meds, and has started physical therapy to help her heal. We are super excited at how well she is doing and making such great progress! So far Eve has proven herself to be a true velcro Dane and loves following her foster mom's lead. As a young puppy, she is still young enough to be trainable to adapt to most things and so far has been great with other dogs, especially her other wheelie dog friend! She will need continued physical therapy and continued work with her wheels, and help doing her business as she has been incontinent. Gunnar's Wheels Foundation will provide her wheels for her lifetime as well! Her routine and needs will change as she grows.
