Lady's previous owner could no longer afford to care for her and she was taken in by a kind-hearted stranger who wanted to help, but could not keep her permanently. Dew Paws Rescue found out about the situation and took her into the rescue. She is now in foster care awaiting her forever home. Lady is a friendly, happy-go-lucky girl who loves attention from people. She is approximately 9 months old, and we don't know her breed with certainty but we guess she could be a mix of shepherd, husky, or maybe even some cattle dog. She is playful and whip-smart; she knows some commands already and will be such a joy to do obedience or trick training with! She will make a great walking or hiking companion, too. Lady has gotten along well with people, cats, and dogs of all sizes. She is such a sweetheart and we truly hope to find her forever home soon. Lady's spay surgery was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions; now that vet restrictions have been lifted she will be spayed as soon as possible (cost covered by Dew Paws Rescue).
