About Amber

Amber is a senior bloodhound that was found tied to a post on the streets in Tijuana. When we first got her, she was severely emaciated and had one large tumor and several other masses, teeth are in awful shape, anemic and dehydrated. Once she was stable enough, she underwent surgery to remove the large tumor and get spayed- it was a rough recovery but she made it through! She is a mellow senior and enjoys a calm environment. She LOVES people and gets along with other dogs, but she has shown a bit of resource guarding (which isn't surprising considering her past). This sweetheart is patiently waiting for a home to call her own. Amber is located in FALLBROOK, CA She is available for adoption through the nonprofit rescue organization One Dane At A Time, Inc.
