About Otis

Otis is a strikingly handsome 8 year old (though he doesn't look it!) who has been with ODAAT for over a year. When he was surrendered, he had many wounds and severe inflammation in his paws that we're certain made walking painful- it turned out to be a severe case of demodex and he was treated. His wounds have improved dramatically, but he does have a stubborn lick granuloma on his front left leg. We have kept him in foster care while trying to heal his leg, but decided that he can go to an adoptive home, so long as they're understanding of the (minimal) care he will require. Otis LOVES all people, big and small! He's the definition of a gentle giant (he's HUGE), and he sure does love attention. He's a mellow and goofy dog who enjoys the simple things in life, like sunbathing and cuddles. He gets along great with dogs, though he does have an alpha personality, and he does not do well with cats. He is crate trained and housebroken.
