About Babycow

American Staffordshire Terrier / Dalmatian
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

Babycow aka 'Cow' is a sweet, loving, and super smart pup! Cow was adopted from a rescue 8 years ago and has spent an amazing life with his family since then. Unfortunately, he gets too nervous to be around his 1.5 year old human sister and has to be separated from his people and it is taking a toll on him. He has slowed down a bit in his old (er) age and really only requires a 30 minute walk most days. In his youth, Cow was an avid ball chaser and has had two back knee surgeries to fix jumping injuries. He would still chase a ball for hours if his humans would let him but he will be very sore after. He has no problem going on a jog or a long hike and the vet says he is in perfect health! Cow does well walking on a leash, especially in heel, but gets a little anxious with strangers or in busy situations. He has been through extensive training throughout the years and is VERY obedient and receptive to commands. In fact, he passed his Canine Good Citizen's test with flying colors and his previous trainer called him his 'pitbull ambassador'! Cow's new family can take advantage of free lifetime training that stays with him through national training experts, Barkbusters, who can help ensure Cow transitions well to his new home and environment. Babycow needs a home with no other pets or children. He does bark at delivery drivers and visitors at the door but does well home alone. Cow needs a home with a family that will love him and understand that he really is the BEST boy ever when his environment is calm and steady.
