About Miles & Nadia

This can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org. Select the Applications tab, then Adoption Application. THE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED BEFORE WE CAN START THE PROCESS. It can take up to a week to process an application. We are an all-volunteer rescue so please be patient. Our adoption area is limited to a 4 hour radius of Indianapolis. We try our best to provide all information in our bios. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask during the interview process. Some of our dogs have special requirements such as needs another dog in the home or requires a physical and permanent fenced yard. These requirements are not negotiable. Unless otherwise noted, we do not cat test our adoptable dogs. We also require that all pets in your household be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and on a monthly heartworm/flea preventative. E-MAILS: We do not respond to e-mail inquiries without an application. We regret that we cannot respond to every e-mail unless you fill out an application. All the dogs we offer for adoption have been spayed/neutered, wormed and microchipped, are up-to-date on immunizations, have been tested for heartworm and are currently receiving a monthly preventative. Nadia & Miles are a bonded pair that must be adopted together. They are inseparable! When we first rescued Miles, he was scared of people & was uncertain of dogs. Nadia has never met a stranger, four legged or two legged, so she has been the perfect antidote to Miles' timidity & uncertainty. She has taught Miles that wrestling & chasing are so much fun. They are constantly playing. And because Nadia runs up to all people, she shows Miles that strangers are safe. Miles is still tentative with visitors but, if he is allowed to approach when he is comfortable, will start giving kisses and welcoming attention. Once he knows you, Miles will literally jump into your arms to get some cuddle time. Nadia is a feisty 1 1/2 year old cocker spaniel/Tibetan spaniel; Miles is a handsome 1 1/2 year old Tibetan spaniel/chihuahua. We couldn't imagine these two apart as they have so much fun together and are always making us laugh! They are active so will require a fenced in yard in their new home. Because of Miles' nervousness, we don't recommend children under 16 years of age. Additionally, a home with lots of people coming & going would likely be too much for Miles. The adoption fee for the pair is $400; they are both fixed, microchipped and current on vaccinations as well as monthly heartworm/flea preventative.
