About Felicity

Adoption Fee: $175
Siberian Husky / Collie
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

No kids but still goes all out for the holidays. Enjoys DIY crafts and finding inspirational quotes on Pinterest. Guilty pleasures include boxed wine and binge-watching Scandal on Netflix. Smart enough to know what you're saying, disregards it anyway. Distinguished vocalist. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Intake Date: 16 May 2020 ----- Age at intake: 1 yr ----- Breed: Husky / Collie Mix guess ----- Size: 30 lbs ----- Status: owner surrender to animal shelter/pound, reason unknown ----- Compatible with: dogs, children, seemed un-phased by cats ----- Suitable for: home with a SECURELY FENCED YARD. Possible apartment with adequate daily mental and physical exercise. ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted ----- Additional Notes: Felicity is a playful young girl. She is petite and very sweet. She has really enjoyed playing with all of the dogs here, and when tested with cats, seemed to ignore them. Cannot say what she would do if they were to run though. Our cats are all good with dogs here. We do not know breeds however based on her beautiful voice and talking, we estimate some husky in there somewhere. She is adorable! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. IF A YARD IS PRESENT, A SECURE FENCE IS MANDATORY. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Medical Expenses Incurred Thus Far: Tick treatment = $25; Spay = $150; Vaccinations = $25.00; Microchip = $10.00; Deworming = $40.00; Total vetting = $250 + food, bedding etc; Adoption fee = $175; Loss = +$75 ----- Without support, we cannot continue to rescue dogs. Unfortunately many are hesitant to pay the minimal adoption fee when dogs can be found free anywhere. What they aren't prepared for is the vetting expense required and then the animals are not fixed and the reproduction surplus continues. Sponsoring a dog's adoption fee allows us to find them a home after being fully vetted, continue intaking and vetting, and continue baby steps towards 'fixing companion animal overpopulation'. To sponsor, send your donation via PayPal at [email protected] with the name of the dog you would like to sponsor in the note! As always, we appreciate your support and cannot do this without you. You are unsung heroes!!
