About Joon

***Adoption Pending*** Joon is a 1.5 year old, 30lb, terrier mix. She is still a little on the shy side, but it won't take long for her to win over your heart. She is house & crate trained, doesn't get on furniture or beg for food. She loves spending time outdoors in an enclosed yard(a fence is required), and may whine when she has to come in. She is not a fan of walking on a leash and will need someone willing to continue to work with her on this. If you're looking for a walking partner, she is not it. Joon is submissive and not aggressive towards other animals but would be fine as an only dog. She is very calm with all the people she has met but can be quite nervous. If you like to recycle, it is recommended that you leave it out of her reach as she will chew cardboard and milk jugs. She will require regular grooming. Joon has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and kept on monthly preventatives. All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Wichita, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
