***Adoption Pending*** Hi, I'm Benny! I am a happy, cheerful 1.5 year-old terrier mix, weighing in at 30 pounds. My foster family says I am sweet and fun! I am a wiggly guy who likes to play with other dogs but I would love to cuddle up on the couch near my family once I get tired. Hard toys are boring - I really love soft, squeaky toys. But because I still have a puppy brain, I may mistake slippers or dirty laundry as something to chew and I might need gentle correction. I sometimes chase cats but respect the claws when they come out! Because of this, I need a fenced-in yard. I have not been child tested and will require regular grooming. I will require another dog to keep me company if my parents work outside the home. I am UTD on vaccinations, heartworm negative, on monthly flea and tick prevention, crate trained and house broken. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Hays, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
