About Mochi

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS FOR MOCHI: KIDS OVER 10, WOULD DO BEST WITH KIDS. FULLY FENCED YARD - IS AN ESCAPE ARTIST. MUST BE SUPERVISED OUTSIDE. BEST WITH OTHER LITTLE DOGS OR NO OTHER DOGS. Mochi is a 2 year old female Chihuahua mix, about 12 pounds. Mochi is one of the group of hoarding dogs that came up from Fresno. She is the sister to Crew, Tobin, Everett, Billie, Ginny and Aubrey. Little miss Mochi is just as sweet as her name. She is an excitable, loving, happy, outgoing, snugly girl who loves all dogs and people. Mochi is an explorer and loves to sniff everything when out on walks. She excitedly greets everyone that she meets and can't wait to make friends with every person and animal around. As much as she enjoys exploring, she equally will lay right next to you (or on top of you) on the couch. To our delight, she doesn't bark excessively and does not much enjoy joining the neighborhood watch with the other small dogs. She is getting support in her foster home for house training, but clearly potty training wasn't something she ever experienced in the past. She would love nothing more than to have a forever family to call her own. Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Notice: We do not ship dogs out of state. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
