Miss Millie may have lived outdoors before but has adapted fabulously to home life with her foster family and has not had a single potty accident. She is eager to please, usually coming when called- this girl loves rewards of treats and pets! Millie is a medium-energy canine, and expends what energy she does have on chewing her favorite bones. She's working on loose-leash walking, waiting patiently to go outside or come in, and calmly accepting petting or brushing. A typical 'Millie-knows-best' Cattle Dog, any canine companion should be confident enough to stand up for themselves but not reactive to her bossiness. Millie is startled by unexpected sounds and will retreat a safe distance to assess the situation with her herding breed intelligence. This One-in-a-MILLIEon girl's Forevers will want a shadow girl, and be dog-savvy enough to understand the typical Cattle Dog cautious, protective, 'bossy', loyal nature. Millie needs further training to help her learn to control her overexuberant expressions of love- jumping, licking, and kissing- so her Forever home should have no kids under 6.
