About Rebel

Rebel is about 6-8 months old, from what we can tell. We think that he was dumped by a previous 'owner'. He is currently only 37 pounds, so we think he is mixed with something smaller or else he will be doing a lot of growing! Since we've had him, we've been working on teaching him basic obedience. He is full of love and so spirited. His tail wags non stop, and his focus will usually be on what you're asking him to do. He knows the dog door and is about 80% potty trained. We can tell he wants to learn and be a good boy. He loves making his human happy. Rebel is learning what a leash is, and picks up on new things rather quickly. He gets along well with adults and other dogs, is not aggressive towards any size dog. Because of his spirit, we'd recommend a home with older children. He's been around cats, but only for a couple days when originally found and does get along with our chickens with no issues. He is not neutered yet, so adoption wouldn't be until after his surgery on 5/20, but he can have meet and greets before then. Because of his activity level, we recommend that his forever home be one that is experienced with dogs and willing to work on continuing his training in order to build a strong bond and grow him into the best boy!
