[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Hi. I'm Orla. The Golden Princess. It's true, I come from royal lineage (but I'm a shelter survivor so I don't have what you'd call papers). That doesn't mean anything these days. It's all about personality and I have that in spades. I'm considering my own insta page. As of May 12, I am almost 6 months old and weighing in at 30lbs. I am a happy, affectionate girl. I like to snuggle my people. I LOVE a good, old fashioned belly rub. I smile... a lot. Like, all day. I'm a true CA girl and will sun bathe in the yard for hours if you let me. I am fun and playful and also a little clumsy, like a baby giraffe tripping over my own long legs. I have legs for days. And gorgeous ears too, while we're at it. My hobbies include guarding the magic food box (not in a bad way, of course I'll let you past me to open it), collecting and sharing chew toys, playing ball and did I mention sunbathing? I'm still learning princess etiquette but I've mastered sit and down, doggy door protocols, and will wait nicely for the OK to eat... never with elbows on the table. I'm still working on other things like house training but I am puppy pad trained while I work on the potty outside thing. I blame my clumsy giraffe legs that are not able to get me outside fast enough but really, I just got a late start on the subject. In fact, I got a late start on everything but I'm learning every day. I'm a late bloomer because I have early onset epilepsy but I haven't had a seizure since early April. That's right, I've been seizure free for over 6 weeks! I'm a special needs girl, maybe mislabeled as high maintenance because I will have to take anti-seizure medication the rest of my life. My next checkup will be in October but my rescuers feel confident that I'm adoptable now to the right person. I'm hoping that is you.
