I took a cat to be TNR'd at our local DAS and they sent me home with the wrong cat. Stranger looks a lot like the cat I took in, but it's become increasingly clear that 1) she must have been a surrender or release from a home and 2) she's not thriving here and hasn't found a place with the local feral colony. She doesn't leave my yard. She's well fed and healthy except for fighting scrapes and a potential mosquito allergy. She's so sweet, wants nothing more than belly rubs in my lap, and so wants to come inside with me. We can't bring her in - we already have four cats. It's so sad to see her so lonely and sad. She's chipped, spayed, and vaccinated.
