I DIE ON MONDAY THROUGH NO FAULT OF MY OWN..... Contact Kat 5164573678 ***RESCUE NEEDED*** To make myself clear, we need a rescue to back this dog . It's important that any potential fosters / adopters are fully vetted and the dog is placed safely and appropriately. I understand that people are offering to help, and we are grateful for that . However, the proper protocol must be put in place to ensure everyone's safety. Please share and tag reputable rescues . Let me know if you are interested because without a experience foster or adoptee there can not be any rescue . Please step up for this angel , he was startled ! He is a great dog ! Diesel was adopted from a high kill shelter approx four years ago. Prior to that he was kept in a cage and tormented by cats. As of today, Diesel has 4 days before he is taken away from his family and euthanized. There was a recent incident that took place in his home where he was minding his own business and the baby in the home was climbing on to her walker and the walker and the baby fell on top of him. This resulted in a bite . Even though this was clearly not his fault, he will be paying the ultimate price because of it with his life. He retreated to his cage immediately following the incident. CPS is now involved and wants him out. He currently lives with another large dog that they are also asking the family to re-home. However, they are being more lenient with the time frame as there was no incident with the other dog . Prior to this situation, there has NEVER been another issue . He is SWEET, PLAYFUL, CALM, BIG DOG FRIENDLY and LOVES PEOPLE! He is not a fan of others touching his toys or food, but who is ?!? He does not like cats or small dogs. He is crate trained, housebroken, fully vetted, Approx 7/8 years old, 75lbs and listens well to commands. The family is beyond devastated that it has come to this and does not want to say goodbye to their best friend. The family can't stand the thought of him going back to the shelter scared, alone, feeling abandoned only to have him be euthanized with strangers.
