About Vader

Vader is a gentle giant. He is very sweet and affectionate and so good with kids and strangers when they walk into the house. This handsome boy doesn't bark much and is very gentle when taking treats. Vader simply loves to cuddle and will paw at you when he wants your attention. He can get a little jealous if you are paying attention to another dog and will just come up and make sure don't forget that he exists. Vader knows sit and shake and enjoys toys... especially tennis balls. He plays very well with other dogs and shares nicely. This 18 month old wants to be next to his people at all times and is pretty chill for the most part. He respects a 3ft chain link fence and is not destructive. Vader was kept outside as a farm dog but is doing great at life on the inside. He is almost completely potty trained and only marks occasionally which will hopefully stop after he is neutered. He isn't crazy about cats or his crate. He will quiet in one after about 20 minutes after you put him in one but he really prefers to be with his people and whines when you leave him. Vader rides great in the car but is still confused about how to get into one. He is good on a leash until he sees a squirrel or another furry creature... then he forgets his manners. He is getting better on each walk he takes. Vader is ready to cuddle up with his people and stay warm and cozy on a chilly night. He will be vaccinated, neutered, microchip and heartworm tested before he is adopted.
