About Tedd

Hey everyone meet Tedd. This dapper gentleman is a 2 year old bichon mix who weights about 12lbs and is the sweetest boy. We pulled Tedd from Newark last month and shortly after we pulled him found out that he had an extensive perianal hernia. He had extensive surgery to remove it and now he is finally healthy and ready to find his forever home! He needs a very special home and someone with lots of love and patience. Tedd is super outgoing and loves people however he does have some quirks. He is very playful and loves his toys, but he wants to play on his terms.. He is a bit possessive over his toys and needs a family who understands when to stand down and is willing to work with him on training to give things up. Due to this behavior we feel he would be best in a home without children. Although Tedd is awesome with people he is not a fan of other animals so he does need to be the only pet in the home. He wants to be the only one getting all the loving. He is moderate energy and would really love a fenced in yard to run in. He would make a great road trip companion as he loves the car! He is potty trained and has been working on a few commands. This little man is a great lap dog and has lots of love to give. We are looking for a home with adults that is kind of quiet and loving. Due to Tedds special nature the requirements to apply for Tedd. 1. must have a house with a fenced in back yard. 2. must not have children in the home 3. must not have other animals in the home Please note that Due to Covid 19 at this time Southern Paws is not doing any adoptions with those who live more then an hour and a half from our Facility in Ringwood NJ.
