The store is not open please start with an application at tailsofrescue.org under dog application. We are going with applications first then speaking with people. Then setting up a meet and greets and hopefully, that turns into an adoption. This is a new way of us doing business so please be patient. Please do read the bio before applying for the animal. We are only doing meet and greet outside the store at Tails of Rescue 981 Lake Blvd Redding CA. Poppie came into the shelter after being caught in a chicken kennel and then taken to the shelter. This girl is a super loyal and sweet girl. She is extremely shy and will take some time to warm up to her new place. No children or cats for this young lady. Always wants to be with you and touching or in your lap. Always sleeps with you! Looking for a lady who wants a lap dog and a shadow. Poppie loves her one person and always wants to be by our side. She could be added as a second dog to a lady. Poppie is barley coming out of her shell with men. The adoption fee is $231 spayed, microchipped, current on shots, kennel cough. We try our best to match our dogs to the perfect homes and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are NOT done on a 'first come, first serve' basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular dog. Our adoption fees are based on the litter or dog. This includes spay/neuter, vaccines, kennel cough, microchip, rabies, and heartworm test if an adult.
