About Missy

Our sweet Missy is such a special lady! Missy is approx 8-9 years old and weighs 60 lbs. Missy is simply an amazing dog! When we rescued her from an overcrowded kill shelter a few months ago she was sad, scared, depressed and had lost almost all of the fur on her body from being so neglected. She's made a remarkable turn around due to medical care and all the TLC while in our care! Missy is extremely sweet and smart and although she was let down by people in the past she still adores her humans! Missy is affectionate, playful, likes to go for walks and really thrives on being pet and shown love ! Something she has never known in her life before we saved her. How sad is that! Treats are one of Missy's very favorite things on the planet and she will reward you back with the cutest body wiggles and tail wags! When she wants her foster mom's attention she follows her around watching everything she does and gives her paw as if asking to hold hands! How sweet is that? Missy may be an older lady but she still has a lot of life in her .. she loves to run and play!! Missy would NOT do well in a home with puppies or female dogs. She only gets along with male dogs. Missy's pretty fur is still growing back in everyday. She's healthy and beautiful and is more than ready to find her very own loving home where she will shower her person with more love and affection than they ever imagined!
