About Maddie

Mattie is a beautiful fully vetted 3 year old brindle boxer/pit mix with a special way about her. Fully vetted and up to date on all her shots. She comes with extensive training by her foster. She has learned commands like 'touch', 'sit', 'down', 'stay', and 'come' but she mostly notices what you seem to like and does that. She is a patient dog and likes to play with other dogs for a little while but more so enjoys being with humans. Mattie is a confident dog but 'accepts things as they are' rather than constantly pushing boundaries. She's wants to be near you and loves to snuggle but is chill about it. She even stays quietly in her crate in the kitchen until the foster has finished getting ready in the morning. If she barks, it's because there is a feral cat at the window (she is not cat safe) or squirrels if she's out in the yard. If the doorbell rings she comes and quietly escorts you to the door. Garbage trucks, gardeners, mail carriers etc. are ignored. She is the sort of dog that bonds deeply and now just needs to get into a home where she can make permanent bonds.
