Violet Meet Violet, a two year old Australian Cattledog who weighs about 35 pounds. She is a confident, fun, and very wiggly girl. She wiggles her whole booty! Violet has learned a lot in foster. She is now house and crate trained. She also knows how to heel and walk nicely on leash, sit (though She can be stubborn with that one), and stay. Violet is a fast learner and will love a family who knows how to keep her engaged. Violet is also very social with people, if managed well. She does have a heel nipping tendency as per her Cattledog character so must have someone who knows how to manage that. She wiggles to say hi, wagging her tail and hoping for some attention. She also gets silly, rolling on the floor and nibbling on feet (click the YouTube button to see the video). Violet is also nice meeting new dogs. She would love a dog pal to play with. She likes to run and wrestle and generally have a good time. Dogs who prefer a calm pal may not like her free spirit. She wants to have fun! Violet is absolutely best friend material. She is a shadow who follows you everywhere. She just can't wait for you to reach down and rub her belly. She LOVES belly rubs! However, Violet needs a home that won't spoil her. She should be treated like a Cattledog, not an easy going pet. If not, her Cattledog tendencies will take over. Recently Violet had a few seizures. It was two days after flea medication and some dogs can be sensitive to flea meds. So, no flea meds in her future! Also, we have her on seizure meds for the foreseeable future. That won't slow her down at all! She is a very active girl who will love jogging, hiking, camping... what you do she wants to do. Oh, and more belly rubs. Violet is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is available for a meeting and adoption in SoCal. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
