About Roxy

Meet Roxy! This sweet 3-4year old heeler mix came to Hands of Hope with her 6 puppies. She was an amazing mom but now her puppies have all found homes and she's ready to enjoy retirement! This girl comes already with a bit of polish, knowing how to sit, stay, heel, fetch, catch and walks well on a leash(although she may need a bit of a reminder on these in her new home). She gets along great with other dogs and dog friendly cats. She loves to run and will require a fenced in yard so she can do what she loves safely, and it needs to be at least 6ft as she has some springs. Roxy is spayed, UTD on vacc., microchipped, and kept on monthly flea/tick/hw preventatives. To apply to adopt visit www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp. No phone calls please. Her adoption fee is $250. All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Kansas City, MO and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
