It's been 20 months and counting, but Chewy still greets life with that happy, goofy smile. We don't know how he manages to keep it together after being at the shelter for nearly 2 YEARS. But he does. It goes to show you his wonderful temperament. Chewy is on the shy side when he first meet you. But don't think for a second that he will always be shy. It takes him a little time to warm up, but once he knows you're his friend, you're in his circle of trust and it's 'Best Friends Forever'. Chewy is friendly and playful. And we LOVE that goofy smile he wears on his face. He loves to play fetch and toys. And he loves affection. He knows the 'sit' command, and pull a bit on the leash. Chewy lived with two dogs. And Chewy nipped someone when they got out of their home. As a result, he has to live OUTSIDE LA City. He is available for adoption or rescue. Chewy has has done well in a Engagement training and meeting another dog on leash. Chewy has been at the shelter for almost two years and it's time that he gets the heck outta there before he gets alerted. Things are especially difficult for shelter animals right now as volunteers are not allowed on the premises, and we are not certain that any dogs are getting the necessary exercise.
