We are so sad to be asking for help, but we're needing to rehome our 2.5 year old female, Winter. We've had her since she was 8 weeks old. We live within the city, with a generous fenced backyard...but Winter has outgrown our ability to contain her and/or give her enough exercise and freedom for her needs. She is sweet and cuddly and knows commands like sit, shake, lay down, rollover, and touch. She is wonderful with kids, strangers and other dogs; not wonderful with cats (predator vs. prey) and has no discipline with livestock. She's a runner and a lover all at the same time. Current on vaccines, about 50 lbs or so, and only chatty when she's ready to eat. She pulls when walking, but is getting better and better with the command to 'heel'. We just cant risk her getting loose in our neighborhood anymore. And we have kids... so the high level of watching that Winter needs is too much for us at this point. We would love for her to go to a secure home with other dogs and room to run and play.
