Dakota is a healthy 5 year old Catahoula mix. She is an excellent family dog, and gets along well with humans-shes been around our kids since they were small, and around other toddlers and adults with no issue. Unfortunately, she is highly aggressive towards other dogs. We are unsure when this began, but it seems to have increased as she's aged. We are a dual-military family, and her behavior is now a liability to the point that we can't board her if both of us are out of town due to duty requirements. Dakota would do best in a wide-open rural setting with room to run free and range, but away from other dogs. It saddens the family to seek a re-home for her, but she's attacked three dogs while off-leash, and we will not be able to keep her with us for much longer.
