About Brady

Poor little Brady was surrendered to Rainbow because he is blind and has diabetes. The family didn't want to treat him. He hasn't had any blood work or other testing for years. He is current on vaccines. He went from 14 lbs last Sept to 7 lbs currently. We had him seen by our vet immediately upon release to us. His diabetes is new so we are hoping that we can get it under control and he will be fine. His blood work looked good. We will have an ophthalmologist check his eyes to see if anything can be done. Through all of this, he is a sweet little boy who hasn't been cared for. He will need a quiet home with no small children and calm older ones. Since he can't see, probably no large dogs or cats who will torment him. He needs a family who is experienced with diabetic dogs.
