About Tommy

Tommy was dumped on a rural road in the country. One of our volunteers lives in that area. She would see him wandering to different homes looking for someone to love him. After a time, she noticed that he had developed ear mites to the point of scratching his ears so badly they looked like ground hamburger. She caught him and tried to heal them. Not having the money to take him to the vet, Rainbow was asked if we could. Even though we are a canine rescue, we couldn't let this sweet boy suffer any longer. He has had 2 urinary tract blockages and a raging urinary tract infection. He has healed form all of his illnesses and is just looking for a quiet family to love and take care of him for the rest of his life. He is a little skittish at first until he learns that you won't hurt him. When he was wandering in the country, he could be seen laying in the dirt with a bunch of chickens, ducks, or other critters. He never fights back with anything, he just runs and hides in the closet. He is a very special cat and deserves a life of love and caring.
