My son and I rescued Luna exactly 2 years ago. She had been horribly abused and been running the streets for god-knows-how-long. She immediately bonded with my son and I believe she would do better with a man but she did come around to me. The problem is, my son went into the army and although she is happy, I don't think I'm giving her her best life. She needs a person with more experience than myself. She has warmed up to me, I can pet her and touch her but still have to be careful how I go about it. You have to kind of let her spy on you a bit and eventually she will come to you. The problem is, I can't get a collar on her yet, she is pad trained, she loves to go in the car but I think she would love to be outside too and I don't have access to a fenced-in yard. She loves to play catch. She is such a beautiful dog, but she needs more than I can give her. I will only allow her to go to someone that I know is going to do their very best for her like I have the past 2 years. I want them to know if there was ever a problem I don't want her sent to a shelter. ****as of 5/15 Luna is still available!!!
