About Burrito

Meet Burrito! He is a good looking 7 year old, 5 pound Chihuahua. Burrito came to us after his daddy passed away. He had a hard time adjusting to his new surroundings and really missed his daddy. Burrito may growl and bark when you first meet him, but it only lasts a minute before he warms right up to you! He is very much a lap dog and loves attention. He also loves to sleep in the big bed and has to be touching you. He loves to snuggle with a blanket and will occasionally chill in a dog bed. He does growl and snap at some of the dogs in his foster home and he might be better as an only dog, or maybe just one other dog in the home. His foster family is working on this with him and he has started playing with his foster fur siblings and toys. Still an occasional growl, but much better! He has not been tested with cats or kids and a home with small children is a no based on his size. Burrito is housebroken and walks on a leash. A fenced yard would be nice for him to run and play in, but it's not necessary. He has been to the vet and is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, and a microchipped with a lifetime registration. He needs a dental which is scheduled soon and is covered by the rescue. Burrito is waiting to meet you! Please submit an adoption application if you are interested in giving him a new home!
