Adoption Fee: $425
English Setter mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

MEET SWEET ALISA, a 6 y/o 45lb hound mix who lost her beloved dad and home recently when her 76 year old owner passed away. We are told, she was faithful to the end staying by his side for 2 days, constantly nudging him to wake him up. After he passed away, animal control was called to get Alisa but she was having none of it. She ran off and, thankfully was found a few days later. She has been in an awesome foster home for a little while. Her foster mom shares the following: 'Playful, friendly, affectionate, loving, energetic, Alisa is a sweet, happy, fun-loving girl who loves being with people. She is friendly and happy all the time. She loves other dogs and playing with cats (maybe a little too playful). She loves to run in a fenced yard and play fetch especially first thing in the morning and after being in the crate for a long while when she has a burst of energy. She is a great companion who likes to curls up and rest by me on the couch. She is crate trained, housebroken and walks nicely on a leash. She knows a few commands and responds to sit when putting the leash on or taking it off. She loves to have her head and belly scratched and will stay still for a very long time if you continue to do so. I think this sweetheart would love a furfriend and a fenced in yard where they can play.' Alisa is spayed and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Her Adoption fee is $425.00. Please note that training is highly recommended for all dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Thanks for adopting and saving a life. You are ALISA's Hero.
