About Ivy

Hello my name is Ivy and I am looking for a loving forever home. I was pulled from a high kill shelter on my last day to live because my owner took me to that scary shelter because was being deployed and couldn't take me with him. He also pulled me from a shelter and I had a bad past that I wish I could tell you about. I watched and waited for him for several days and he never came. I didn't understand what was going on and I was very scared. Once I got into a foster home I started opening up and now I have gained my confidence and ready for a new home. My face and legs are scared from other dogs biting me a long time ago so if you can looks past my scars I'm a good girl. I am very sweet and affectionate and want to be around my people all the time. It took me some time to adjust when they left going to work but I'm used to a routine now. I am very gently when I take a treat from your hand and I have now learned how to sit. I am house trained and love to lay on the couch and be snuggled. I am 4 years old and sweet as pie. When I go outdoors I love to do zoomies running around the yard. I listen very well and don't mind getting baths. I love children and have been around ages 4-18. I love stealing my 4 yr old foster sisters barbies when she isn't looking but I don't tear them up. I am also dog friendly but need to be introduced slowly so I know they won't hurt me. I am currently in NC in a foster home waiting on someone who wants to adopt me. Will you please take a second look at me and contact my rescue so they can send you more pictures and videos of me? I can be dog selective but am currently kenneled with another female and we are friends. I promise to be your best friend if you make me part of your family. Love Ivy
