About Luke

Luke is a gray, brindle Pitbull. Very strong. He knows how to sit for treats but not really when he's outside just playing around. He won't always come when called. He loves to play with a knotted-rope toy! He has been with me since the middle of January this year. His owner asked me to board him while he underwent some medical testing. We agreed I would send him invoices each week and the owner would pay me as he could. The owner paid 5 invoices but he never paid me any more after that. I have taken care of Luke since mid-January and I need to find him a forever home. The owner has told me that he cannot take Luke back as his health issues and new apartment expenses have taken over. The owner told me I could have him but I cannot take him as I have 3 intact female dogs already. I took Luke in for boarding only, with the agreement that the owner would take him back once he got finished with his testing and found a place to live. Now, the owner is unable and has stuck this process of finding a home for Luke all on me. I'm asking for this adoption fee just to recoup my boarding fees this owner has not be able to pay. This poor dog just needs a good, loving home to live out his life. He does not need to continue to live in my kennel. I do not know how he is around children as I have not see him around any. He's fine with me and other adult women and men that have come in contact with him while I've had him.
