About Daisy

Daisy is a 10-year-old DRNM alum, coming back to us because her dad passed away and mom's health is deteriorating. Her life has been one of chaos, turmoil, and anxiety. She will do well in a low stress environment, not much noise and drama. She is a medium energy dog. Loves to go for long walks in the pasture, then is content to lay around the house. She stays close by when her foster family is taking care of livestock, then comes when they call her for a walk. Good with other animals and ignores the house cat. Despite her age, Daisy can be an escape artist, easily jumping 5ft fences or climbing taller horse fencing and squeezing through very narrow areas. Daisy likes water, uses the kiddie dog pool and splashing around in the arroyo at her foster home. She enjoys being brushed and is crate trained. Poor baby hates to be alone and will howl. She also gets very worried with storms and tries to hide. Daisy travels well in the car. She is sweet and gentle and has a soft spirit. Needs a quiet owner that will give her time and space to adapt to a new home. She does need companionship, animal and human. A $100 adoption fee applies.
