About Poochie

This adorable, little, sweet, loving, playful, and just a bit plump fella is doing incredibly well after some bumpy times. Poochie was adopted and had some seizure activity in the home and he came back to us. What was odd is that there were no seizures noted at the shelter or foster home but that is the way those things can go. He finally did have a seizure when he was returned to his foster home. The terrific news is he pas been on a very low dose of phenobarbitol for weeks now and has been seizure free--YEA!! The meds are about $9 per month and the vet recommended just a yearly blood test and exam, which most senior dogs get anyway. Poochie is such a happy and snuggly guy and he ADORES the outdoors!! You would never know this little pomeranian mix would be such a hardy guy, but he is, rain or shine he loves his outside time. He will do well with an active person that also spends time outside, will go for walks and maybe help Poochie lose his little pooch(lol!)
