*ADOPTION PENDING* Cuddly Cookie Oatmeal! Oatmeal is a 8-year-old, 45-50 pound female Blue Heeler mix with cuddle cravings. Oatmeal LOVES on anyone and EVERYONE. Oatmeal was rescued from life on a chain. She was malnourished, and is still growing back fur around her neck, from where she had to have her collar surgically removed before she went to her foster home. All it took was a little love and care to bring on the smiles, snuggles, and sparkle. Her foster mom says she is the SWEETEST dog around the town. Oatmeal sticks close to her Person, whether they are video conferencing or binge watching. This sweet cookie soaks up the affection of the neighborhood kids she visits, though she isn't one to necessarily play. Oatmeal does, however, enjoy romping with the foster family pups. Given her awful beginning, it's no surprise that she doesn't like spending too much time outside- she doesn't want to be left alone again. Oatmeal already knows 'sit' and will go into her crate when told. She also does a great job when walking on her leash. Oatmeal's Forever Family will be eagerly looking for an affectionate dog companion to share their hearts with. They will have no kids under 7, and maybe another docile dog or two. Oatmeal must have a home with a fenced-in yard. Oatmeal has not been assessed around cats.
