About Tank

Great Dane / Bullmastiff
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Meet TANK! He is estimated to be a 2 yr old Great Dane Mix (though we see Bull Mastiff). He weighs approximately 80 pounds. No warm up needed for TANK. He loves all immediately, he is extremely friendly!!! He is housebroken, and when he has to go will sit by the door and alert you to his needs. He is a surprisingly quiet dog. Does not bark in the house and doesn't get on house furniture!! He prefers just laying on your feet while you sit on the couch. He does well in large crowds which is a plus when walking him in this area. He is a beautiful dog and gets a lot of attention due to his stature. Tank likes to play with other dogs however he gets really excited so because of his size his friends should be large. No small animals due to a prey drive! He has some struggles with wooden steps and needs some coaching ( he slips and gets frightened). He does well on leashes! He loves car rides with the window cracked so he can feel the breeze. He is working on learning basic commands. TANK has puppy energy and loves being outside and long walks. Tank is up to date on shots, neutered, and being fostered in Washington D.C. Tank has undergone heartworm treatment thanks to all our followers donating!! We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
