About Hope

Hope is a very affectionate 12 year old Siamese mix. She makes the perfect companion. Hope loves to follow people wherever they go and enjoys being petted and brushed. She loves catnip, toys, and eating her food out of her puzzle treat ball. In true Siamese fashion, she can be vocal sometimes and loves to 'chat'. Hope enjoys looking out of the window and climbing cat trees. As a very affectionate kitty, she enjoys sitting next to people and grooming you with her scratchy tongue. It's just a way to say she likes you! Hope will also walk up to other cats and try to groom them also, so if you have other kitties that do not like other kitties in their space, Hope may not be a good fit. Hope has feline diabetes (diagnosed in early 2019). Due to this, Hope eats a specific food by Royal Canin called Glycobalance and needs an insulin injection at breakfast and at dinner. Hope does not even notice her injections at all. One bag of food and one bottle of insulin will last several months. As long as she receives this as maintenance, caring for Hope is a breeze and she will have many years. She is a very attached kitty, so Hope would appreciate a home where someone can allow her to hang around and be a part of the family. Unsure of how Hope is with dogs and she would probably be okay around cats that either ignore her or are laid back and let Hope do her thing.
