The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less than ideal conditions so will need to be house and leash trained. Most have never lived in house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Kyli and I am a beautiful little Yorkie girl who is 3 years old and I weigh 6 pounds. I need a very quiet home with no children and a full-time parent and where I will be center of my new parent's world. I am very scared of this new world and an experienced adopter of former breeding dogs is a must. That means someone who is familiar with a breeding dog who is not socialized, will bite when cornered to be picked up and have a socialized sibling my size to learn from would be very helpful. A secure yard is essential as I am not house trained, leash trained, or anything trained. Please, if you do not meet these requirements, do not waste your time or ours. She is little and cute, but if you cannot meet her needs, not what you want, don't even complete the application. It's about what she needs.
